This episode, Rich, Grum and Say journey outside of their box and filmed the episode at Massive, an “annual end of year celebration for all the world’s hard working people in the Digital and Computing related fields.” The venue was the impressive new club called The Library.

In the episode, we talked about Rich’s trip to visit Juan Mann in his Free Hugs open home. How Juan got started, and the fact that he is now being evicted and needs to find a new abode. How Tay Zonday has broken out of just filming tacky video clips for YouTube and is now recording advertisements for Dr Pepper, and their Cherry Chocolate drink.

Grum also sprukes Cali Lewis’s iYule.tv, a fireplace for your iPod.

We also talk about “2 Girls 1 Cup,” and highly recommend people don’t watch it. However, we highly recommend people search YouTube for some of the reactions that friends have videoed while showing people the clip.

We also are amazed by Mr French, who can clap 721 times in 60 seconds, the amount of time he prepares for it, and what would inspire someone to bother trying to break that record. As inspirational is Chuck Norris and his support of Huckabee.

Rich is happy that the latest Diggnation yearly wrap up shows a clip from their first show, and he points out that their camera angle was as shocking as the one in Scouta TV Episode 0.

Rich and Grum also talk about the continuation of the Hollywood writer’s strike, Netflix and NBC Universal partner to release Heroes TV series on the Internet, and ITV, Channel 4 and BBC to launch online TV.

Welcome to the second episode of Scouta TV, a show that finds you great videos and podcasts.

Episode 0.1 has arrived! Still in pre-alpha stage, ScoutaTV is still ironing out bugs (not that there are any…) but hopes to be releasing episode 1 in the next 10 months or so…

This fornight Grum, Rich and Say discuss Cloverfield, a 2008 monster movie produced by J. J. Abrams (of Alias fame) promoted in the same “viral-esque“way as Halo did with it’s ilovebees campaign. Next topic of discussion was Google Android, Google’s latest project aimed at dominating the mobile phone market and getting Web CEOs on camera showing off their sexy legs. Crayon Physics Deluxe is discussed next, with grum comparing it’s playability to Line Rider and EchoChrome. Richard goes into a rant about how cool Battlestar is and grum returns the TV geekery with his love for Lost. The writers of such TV shows like The Daily Show are currently striking, prompting a large handful of TV shows to be delayed in America and forcing people to seek alternative forms of TV entertainment such as diggnation and TikiBarTV, two massively popular podcasts.

Lala from TikibarTV has just released a new calendar which grum will be purcahsing to add to his already extensive collection of his Lala shirt and TikibarTV pint glasses, available at the TikiBarTV online store. Grum also touches on the Royal League of Bunnies, a drinking game brought to life on one of the TikiBarTV episodes. The team then goes on about web-procused TV serials such as Italian Spiderman, produced by the Aussie group “Alrugo Entertainment” and the various clips by the Smosh boys.

We also chat about fake “how-to” guides which tell the viewer how to do certain things like charge an ipod with common household items, open car doors with tennis balls and how to fix a CD with a microwave. Rich chats about a video he caught on a recent TEDTalk which features Jesus’ second coming and fianlly we end the show with a chat about one of our own viewer’s prank call website “Scamtoons“.

The boys finalise the show by chatting about Anina’s post in the Facebook Group and ChrisPirillo’s shirtless advertising.
